1920
The tradition of the Michna family company dates back to the inter-war period. In 1920, Konstanty Michna founded a meat-products factory in Pelplin. -

1952
The plant survived the occupation period, but faced difficulties after 1945; in line with the policy of the Government of that time, the Company was nationalised, and as of 1952 changed into GS Pelplin Centrum. -

1960
However, the son of Konstanty Michna, also named Konstanty, continued the family's activity in the meat-products industry. In the 60s, 70s and 80s, he managed a State-owned company – the Społem Tczew Meat and Delicatessen Works.- -

After the political transformation which created new chances for renewing private business, Konstanty Michna succeeded in reactivating the company at the turn of 1991, with the support of his son Janusz. In the last quarter of the Century, the owners' determination resulted in the dynamic growth of the Michna brand.

A significant breakthrough in this development was the engagement of, and takeover of the Company by, the present young generation of the family, Janusz and Bożena Michnów, and - in the subsequent period - Przemysław, Andrzej and Paweł Michnów, and Karolina Warmbier (born Michna).- -

Today
Today, Michna Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością Spółka Komandytowa (Limited Partnership) is a company with a headcount of over 180 employees, providing contract services in the food and construction industries.
The Michna Company conceived a strategic development plan entailing the launching of an investment project entitled "The Construction of an Innovative Meat-and-Bonemeal and Animal-Fats Production Plant" by the year 2020. This project was recognised as innovative, Poland's most modern, and one of Europe's most modern.
Firma Michna Sp. z o.o. Sp. K. pozyskała z Funduszy Europejskich dotację na Kapitał Obrotowy w kwocie 337 558,44 zł.
Projekt w ramach działania 3.4. Dotacje na kapitał obrotowy Programu Operacyjnego Inteligentny Rozwój 2014-2020
CEL FINANSOWANIA: Uzyskanie finansowania na cele związane z działalnością finansowaną kapitałem obrotowym średniego przedsiębiorcy, znajdującego się w trudnej sytuacji ekonomicznej w związku z zakłóceniami w funkcjonowaniu gospodarki na skutek wystąpienia pandemii COVID-19.
PLANOWANE EFEKTY: Niezaprzestanie prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej w okresie sierpień-październik 2020. Wsparcie na finansowanie kapitału obrotowego w najtrudniejszym jak do tej pory okresie trudności finansowych, które zaistniały wskutek pierwszej fali pandemii COVID-19, mają przynieść także efekt w postaci utrzymania działalności średniego przedsiębiorcy w następnych miesiącach
